Falcon 900

At 398 in the Falcon 900 has the longest cabin of the three Dassault heavy jets we charter, against 314 in for both Falcon 2000s. It keeps the cross-section that makes those aircraft worth booking — 92 in across, 74 in high — and puts more of it behind twelve seats rather than ten. Range is 3,800 nm and top speed 481 kt. Baggage is 127 cu ft across thirteen bags. For a charterer who wants the Falcon cabin but has outgrown a ten-seat configuration, this is the aircraft that answers without leaving Dassault.

Against the wider aircraft in this class the 900 reads as a long cabin rather than a broad one: the Challengers carry 98 in across and the Challenger 850 carries it across 581 in. What the Falcon offers instead is height — 74 in, matched here only by its own siblings and exceeded only by the G-450 — with twelve seats and a hold sized to them. Production has ended. Specified for a party of ten to twelve on a sector of three to four thousand miles, in a cabin tall enough that nobody spends the flight aware of the ceiling, the 900 occupies a position none of the other ten aircraft in this class occupies.
