The next highest is the Embraer 135 LR at thirty-seven, and outside this category no aircraft carries more than nineteen. The 145 LR is a regional airliner given over to a single party, with a 649 in cabin at 83 in wide and 71.7 in high, and 325 cu ft of baggage. Top speed is 453 kt. For a squad, a touring company or a corporate movement where the headcount is the whole problem, this is the aircraft that solves it.

The trade is stated plainly. Range is 1,550 nm, the shortest of the six VIP airliners and the shortest by a wide margin — the BBJ 737 Max reaches 6,600. Takeoff is 7,447 ft, the longest requirement of any aircraft in our fleet, which removes a number of airfields from consideration before the conversation starts. Production has ended. Specified for a large group on a short sector between airports with full-length runways, nothing we charter carries more people; asked to fly far or into a constrained field, it is the wrong aircraft.
