Piaggio Avanti

What distinguishes both Piaggios in this class is the cross-section, and the earlier Avanti has it in full: 73 in of cabin width, a figure it shares with the Avanti II and that no other turboprop we charter approaches — the PC-12/47E is 60 in and the King Air 54 in. Height is 68.9 in, second in the class only to the Avanti II's 69.7 and still above every light jet in our fleet. The cabin runs 177 in, seating six to seven, with four bags in the hold. Range is 1,470 nm.

The registry holds no verified takeoff distance, no landing distance and no top speed for this aircraft, so this page makes no claim about runway or pace — the figures simply are not recorded, and inventing them would be worse than leaving the gap visible. What is recorded is the cabin, and the cabin is the reason the type gets requested. Production has ended. Between the two Avantis the later aircraft is the one with the fuller specification behind it; this one offers the same width and very nearly the same height, and a charterer comparing the pair on cabin alone will find little between them.
