Bombardier's single entry in our super midsize fleet takes a visibly different line from the Embraers and Cessnas around it. The Challenger 300 measures 86 in across the cabin, a width nothing in the class exceeds and only the Gulfstream G-200 matches, and stands 72.8 in high. The cabin is 284 in long, short for the category — the aircraft puts its volume into cross-section rather than into feet. For eight or nine passengers on a two-to-four hour sector that is a defensible allocation, because shoulder room is felt continuously and cabin length mostly when somebody is moving about.
