Descrizione

Among the three Falcons we charter, the 8X reaches furthest: 6,450 nm against the 7X's 5,950 and the 6X's 5,500. That 500 nm over its nearest sibling is the difference between planning New York–Dubai as a sector and planning it as a sector with contingencies. Dassault's approach to long range has never been about brute size, and the 8X reflects it — the aircraft is narrower across the cabin than the Globals it competes with, and gets its reach from wing and weight rather than from volume. For a charterer that trade reads clearly: the 8X is chosen when the sector is long and the party is not large. It is the Falcon that makes an intercontinental routing straightforward without moving up to a wider aircraft, and Dassault has kept the type deliberately close to its siblings so that a crew and an operator familiar with one are rarely unfamiliar with the next.

The cabin runs 512 in, the longest of the Falcons, standing 74 in high and seating twelve to sixteen. That length is what allows the aircraft to be divided into genuinely separate areas on a sector where people will be awake at different times. Baggage is 140 cu ft across 14 bags — sized to a party of that number rather than to a group charter. A cabin attendant travels, and on an aircraft configured this way the service pattern is closer to a long-haul first cabin than to a shuttle. The 8X is the Falcon to ask for when the routing is the hardest part of the trip and the passenger list is not. Where the 6X puts its emphasis on cabin volume and the 7X on runway performance, the 8X spends its margin on distance, and does so without narrowing what the cabin can hold.

Why Choose It

The furthest-reaching Falcon

Longest range of the Falcons

6,450 nm puts the 8X 500 nm beyond the 7X and 950 nm beyond the 6X, the two other Falcons in the fleet.

Longest Falcon cabin

At 512 in the 8X gives 43 in more cabin than the 7X, which is what makes separate working and rest areas practical.

Sized to the party, not the group

Twelve to sixteen seats and 140 cu ft of baggage — proportioned for a principal's party on a long sector rather than for volume.
